Me: I am a formerly single mom who has gotten married and had a new baby this year. I am not sure yet what this life is going to look like, but I can assure you that it will be an adventure. I am a recovering alcoholic with a sober date of 11/24/99, and it all boils down to one day at a time.
Steve: Father of Children Numbers Four and Five, who also happens to be my new husband.
Hannah: Eldest child, only daughter, almost 19 years old and trying to figure it all out. She has a daughter named Aubry who just turned a year in September 2011 (yes, I have a granddaughter older than my youngest child; trippy!).
Eli: Oldest boy. At 17 years old, he is quite taller than me, has a sharp tongue and a brilliant brain, and is my only adamant NON-believer. Who supported McCain. I am not convinced that he is actually my child. Hannah and Eli are both fruit of my loins from my first marriage.
Sam: Middle son, 12years old with the brain and soul of a 35 year old. He is the product of my second marriage, and hasn’t seen his dad for almost four years. He is amazing and funny, and can’t figure out why his dad doesn’t love him.
Owen: The second-to-youngest child, he just turned five and started kindergarten this year.
Josie: My youngest child, my second daughter, my new baby born in August 2011.
